Photos from a tribe village in Sapa

The last part of my trip in Sapa I spent with a H’mong family in Lai Chau village. In order to get there I had to trek for 5 hours in the rice fields…I couldn’t ask for better views:) I was accompanied by Dong, my lovely hostess. Trekking together gave me a chance to get to know her better and learn about the local life. The whole family welcomed me with warm smiles and even though no one besides Dong spoke English we managed to have some fun, especially with the kids.

I was left alone with the kids while Dong was cooking dinner. They didn't speak any English. So I pulled an old trick and took my camera out

After a while everyone got bored with the camera. Luckily I thought ahead and packed with me some paper and crayons. That kept them busy
